John Henry and the folks at What Cheer created a site for Allen’s Furniture a little while back, and it’s totally gorgeous. Have you seen it? Well, Rob and I were fortunate enough to meet Susie and Stewart of Allen’s at the opening of BEASTBOX. They are two really great Omahans, and their store is not to be missed. Not only do they sell eclectic, well-designed, well-made furniture, but also one-of-a-kind art and accessories. They spend a lot of time looking for unique pieces, and like to support local artists, and that’s where I come in.
I will now be making the PlaiderPillar Toadstool Footstools exclusively for Allen’s! Susie and Stewart purchased two footstools and are currently taking orders for them. I will create ones in fabrics I find myself, but Allen’s also has a sample book of fabrics in really cute colors so you can special order the footstools to match your home. I am so excited about this!
In addition to the Toadstool Footstools, some monsters may make their way to Allen’s as well, so keep checking in to see what new stuff they have.
This is the first time I’ve sold PlaiderPillar pieces in a brick and mortar store, and I couldn’t be happier that it’s Allen’s!
P.S. They have two REALLY cute dogs, Charlie and Isabella who get to hang at the store (as if you needed any more reason to stop in)!
